In addition to the regular responsibilities of the Board, over the course of the last year Board members dedicated additional time to develop a list of objectives for how the Board should operate. To some, the following ideas may be viewed as a mission statement. Either way, the Board members wanted to provide Huntington Estates residents some idea about the focus of the Board's efforts. The following objectives, in conjunction with the Huntington Estates Bylaws, provide a framework for how the Board will manage the community of Huntington Estates.

The objectives of the Huntington Estates Board will be to:
- Promote and improve a friendly, receptive and respectful social environment for resident and non-resident club members.
- Maintain and improve facilities and common grounds that are attractive assets to the neighborhood and support or increase home values.
- Provide well-maintained, well-managed, safe and clean facilities where residents can meet, relax and have fun. Facilities include, but are not limited to, the pool, tennis courts, locker and shower rooms.
- Champion the interests and views of the Huntington Estates community that are believed to have a positive impact on or prevent deterioration of the existing community environment. This would most commonly be accomplished through interaction with various local government and social agencies.
- Manage the homeowners’ associations’ monetary assets through the use of prudent fiscal policies that satisfy the fiduciary requirements of the Board members.
