WELCOME TO HUNTINGTON ESTATES WATER POLO
Water polo is the fastest growing sport in Chicago and the western suburbs. Water polo is a competitive team sport that mixes the best of basketball, soccer, and hockey (not to mention swimming!). Huntington Estates Water Polo strives to introduce players to the sport and develop their skills through four practices a week and games against other subdivision teams in Naperville.
Our league, the Naperville Subdivision Summer Water Polo League (http://nsswpl.clubspaces.com), administers the program and runs a season consisting of 6-8 games and a championship tournament in mid July. The league is stressing an instructional, fun, and competitive approach to the game.
If you like to swim and have fun on a team, come join our Water Polo team! No experience necessary!
Information about the Huntington Estates Water Polo team:
AGE:
8-14 (you must be 8 yrs. old by May 31stand may play through 8th grade). Players must be able to swim 25 yard freestyle without stopping.
The league is divided into two age divisions, 8-11 & 12-14.
U11 Coed, U14 Boys (Coed only when there is no U14 Girls team from the opponent side) and U14 Girls.
PRACTICES: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM and Sundays 9-10 AM.
GAMES: are still being scheduled, but are typically Monday and/or Wednesday evenings and some Sunday mornings. There may be a Friday evening game if necessary. The schedule should be available by mid-April and will be posted on the website when it is finalized.
